Sony Ericsson Satio: Sales Suspended by some outlets

For those of you who who have not yet purchased the Sony Ericsson Satio you may now have to wait sometime, this is because it appears as if the handset is not currently being sold by some outlets.

Currently it appears as if the UK outlets ‘The Carphone Warehouse’ and ‘Phones 4U’ have suspended sales, this is said to be due to a software related issue.

This software issues is said to have resulted in an abnormally high number of handsets being returned to the stores, Sony Ericsson are stating that the actual percentage of returns is fairly low given the amount of handsets sold.

The software issue is said to sometimes power down the handset, this is said to occur when some applications are accessed, it seems as if this issue will not be fixable over-the-air.
