Sony Ericsson Pureness 2 to Have Fewer Features
Filed under: Cell Phones, Handsets

When a new version of a cell phone is launched it usually comes with a host of new features, but not the Sony Ericsson Pureness 2. There is already a second version of this handset planned, but will come with fewer features.
ElectricPig had a chance to speak to the designer of the Sony Ericsson Pureness. Daniel Mauritzson had told them of his plans about the next Pureness. He said that he would continue in his mission to make the cell phone simpler to use, making them basic but still look modern.
Not much is known about the features and design of the next Pureness handset, we have to wonder how much more can be taken away from a cell phone before it comes just a lump of plastic. Mauritzson said, “You could remove the keys…” before trailing of Mauritzso off.”
However, he did offer a little bit of news; the Pureness 2 will focus more on its software rather than its design. Designers are happy that they will not have to think about the design, as they feel that less is more.
We are not sure how long it will be before the Sony Ericsson Pureness 2 will be launched, but it will not be any time soon.
