LG X120 netbook: Now Available in the U.S.
By: Jamie Pert | November 24, 2009 | Leave a CommentBack in September we saw the release of the LG XPION X30 nettop, it seems that LG are looking to impact the nettop and netbook market this year as they have now also launched the LG X120 netbook in the U.S.
Compared to some of the netbooks released today the X120 is pretty basic, that said it is more than capable of providing Internet access to users along with word processing etc.
The X120 features an Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive and a 10.1 inch display, as you would expect the netbook features integrated WiFi and a webcam.
One thing which is a bit of shock is the fact that the netbook runs Windows XP instead of Windows 7, this may increase performance, however we have seen plenty of similar specification XP-based netbook released previously.
The netbook can be purchased for $179.99 at Radio Shack, this pricing requires a data plan of $60 per month with AT&T, for more details check out SlashGear.
