Black Friday TV Deals: Best Buy and WalMart very competitive
By: Peter Chubb | November 24, 2009 | Leave a CommentRetailers such as Best Buy and Walmart have some great TV deals on Black Friday 2009, with many models of TVs seeing bigger discounts than lasts years one day sale. However, there is a downside to this, these huge discounts will be limited to fewer sets.
According to The Wall Street Journal, the reason for fewer TVs on offer is due to the fact that retailer’s sales have started much earlier than ever. The reason for this is simple; retailers are seeing the worst sales for years, so need to keep offering promotions to keep shoppers interested.
There are already a number of Black Friday TV deals showing up on the Internet, such as the Samsung LN46B640 from Best Buy, more information is available on this deal here.
Another deal is this Sanyo DP50719 HDTV from Walmart or the Panasonic TC-P54S1 from Sears.
We know that TV prices are lower than they were this time last year, but this is only because year old technology will always fall in price. Weak demand has also played a part in TV prices, which is great for the consumer.
There were an excess number of TVs left over after last year’s sales, so retailers are more caution this year and decided to order less and offer fewer models with deals on them.
