Apple Tablet (aka iTablet): Magazine maker gets ready

All eyes have been on Cupertino’s lab to see if there is any truth to the constant Apple Tablet rumors, however magazine publishers believe that the iTablet is coming and are already making plans to offer their magazines to the tablet PC.

Conde Nast who publishes both Wired and Vogue had a video demonstration at a recent Wired Store event in New York, which you can see in the video below. While watching the short clip, you can see the true potential that the publisher has for the rumored Apple Tablet and other versions.

The video shows what it would be like to flick through the pages of a virtual magazine on an iTablet device; you can even change the orientation of the page by simple flipping the screen. This is just one of the many features that we are likely to see from the Apple Tablet device.

There is a downside to the great features of viewing a magazine on a tablet device, the huge drain on the battery. Not certain how bothered Apple will be by this, we all know how poor the batter like is on the iPhone and still nothing has been done.

  1. If the other publishers were smart they would do the same.
