Unboxing the Eee PC 1005HR: Video

The Eee PC 1005HR is a first for ASUS, as it is the first Eee PC to offer more than 600 pixels of vertical resolution. This latest 10.1-inch netbook has a display of 1366 x 768, perfect for watching 720p HD video. However, Engadget wonders if the hardware is up to the job.
The 1.6GHz Atom N280 and its poor performing integrated GMA 950 graphics could struggle a little, only time will tell. It is good that you will be able to view programs in the resolution that makes it easier to work, such as spreadsheets.
Netbooked finally got their hands-on the Eee PC 1005HR and made an unboxing video, which you can see below. The netbook has been available in Japan since October, they are not certain if the 1005HR is available in any other country. We do know that the Eee PC 1201N Netbook will be available in the UK some time next year.
While watching the video, you will see that the guy unboxing the latest netbook from ASUS compares it to the HP Pavilion DM1 and Samsung N140 netbooks.
