By: Alan Ng | November 23, 2009 | Leave a CommentNot content with just a single app on 3 handsets in the UK, Spotify has announced that their application is now available on the Symbian platform – meaning it is compatible with a whole selection of handsets.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, the app will now be available on a range of Nokia handsets, as well as various Sony Ericsson and Samsung handsets that run on the Symbian platform.
If you still didn’t know about the benefits of Spotify (streaming of endless collections of music), it is likely now that their appearance on the Symbian platform will get everyones attention.
If you are interested in trying out the Spotify app, you’ll be able to download it from m.spotify.com (using your mobile browser). As for prices, it will be the same as on the iPhone and Android handsets, meaning that you pay for a premium subscription for unlimited use of music.
