Sony Ericsson Xperia X10: Release exclusive on AT&T?
By: Alan Ng | November 23, 2009 | Leave a CommentSome interesting news to bring you now, as it has been reported that the upcoming Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be exclusive on the AT&T network in the U.S – according to a latest spec sheet that was revealed.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, some new details has been released for the Xperia X10, more specifically – the type of radio band that the handset will support.
It turns out that the Xperia X10 will run on UMTS/HSPA 800/850/900/1700/1900/2100, along with the usual GPRS and EDGE specifications – meaning that AT&T will be the only network in the US which will be able to support this, much like the Apple iPhone.
Treat this as a rumor for now, as no official word has come from Sony Ericsson or AT&T yet. We’ll update you when we can confirm this.
What are your thoughts on this? Could the Xperia X10 be AT&T’s new gem after the iPhone deal runs out?
