Original Mario Kart coming to Nintendo Wii soon
By: Alan Ng | November 23, 2009 | Leave a CommentSome great news for Nintendo Wii owners now, as we are pleased to confirm that the original and classic Mario Kart game will be making an appearance on the Virtual Console soon.
As reported from Eurogamer, the game will be available for US users only at the moment, as nothing has been confirmed for Europe.
The game will cost 800 Wii points, which is around £6-€8. May seem a lot to some of you, but we’re thinking 2 player Grand Prix battles after a few beers sounds wonderful.
You may also be interested to know that Mario Kart will be joined by PilotWings (another SNES classic) and the original N64 Super Smash Bros.
Definitely something to look forward to here, we’ll let you know once they go live. Mario Kart a certain purchase for you?
