Microsoft Hit Back at Xbox 360 Lawsuit Threats
Filed under: Gaming, Xbox 360

Since carrying out bans on modded Xbox 360’s Microsoft have been heavily criticized by many disgruntled customers, some of these disgruntled customers were happy to hear that a law-firm called AbingtonIP were beginning to organize a class action lawsuit against Microsoft.
A spokesperson for Microsoft recently spoke to the Financial Post regarding the issue and according to him Microsoft were “well within its legal rights” to ban users from its Xbox Live.
In my opinion Microsoft have not done anything wrong, I admit there will be a small majority of customers who may not have been aware that their console was modded, however in my opinion most people would have used piracy to illegally save themselves vast amounts of money over the years.
