HTC HD2: Now Available from O2

Back in late October we posted an article suggesting the extremely impressive HTC HD2 handset would soon be available from the UK carrier 02, according to TechRadar it seems that the handset is now finally available.

Although it is not yet listed on O2’s website TechRadar seem to believe that the handset will be available in-store today, chances are that the handset will be available free-of-charge when you agree a two-year deal, however this is currently unconfirmed.

The handsets specifications are really impressive, it runs Windows Mobile 6.5 and is powered by a 1GHz processor, the handset uses HTC’s Sense UI to hide the Windows Mobile OS and also features a massive 4.3 inch display.

O2 currently offer arguably the best choice of high-end handsets which include the iPhone 3GS and the Palm Pre, adding the HD2 to their catalog will be great for the UK carrier.

Will you be buying the handset from O2?

First handsets on the street have a defective camera. Something people are calling the “pink aura” problem.
