Just wanted to point out that GameStop is selling the ‘Game of the Year Edition’ of ‘Fallout 3′ (which was only recently released) for $50, and Best Buy is selling the year-old original edition for $20.

    • Dustin says:

on that note. You’d want to go with the game of the year since its the game brand new and all 5 of the expansions! So 50 bucks is cheaper than buying the game new with all the expansions! considering one isnt available for download yet!

Good point Jalex. And, “Best Buy also have the new FIFA Soccer 10 ” should be “Best Buy also has. . .”

Well Gamestop is showing PS3 console w/3 games for $299.99 BestBuy is Showing PS3 console /2 games for $299.99 an extra game rules in favor for GameStop in my rule book. But i wonder which games does GameStop is giving? BestBuy offers Big Little Planet & a Rachet & Clank game, either one of those are good games. So just a matter of what you want.

I am new to this whole “gaming thing” I am going to purchase a PS3 but was wondering about a few things. Are all the games 1 or more players or do you need to buy the game specifically for 2 or more. I am asking because I am wondering if I need to purchase another game controller right away or not. Also there is a great deal on Amazon for the PS3 and the media kit for 319.94 but no games or I can buy the media kit seperately for 29.95 and the console w/one controller from Game stop for 299.99 with a few games. It’s all so confusing. Also is there a big difference between the slim and the regular other than the obvious of it being slimmer. Also does anyone think Amazon’s price will lower on Black Friday?

    • Shaun says:

      Cori,

You do not have to buy a 2nd controller but if you plan on playing against a live person such as your friends/family you should.

Games like Madden 2010 let you play against the machine. They have single player mode so you don’t have to have a controller.

When you buy a game always read the front and back of the game. Some will tell you one or two player and whether they are online, etc.

      later
