GameStop Black Friday 2009 Ad vs. Best Buy’s Gaming Ads
By: Daniel Chubb | November 21, 2009 | 8 CommentsIt’s been pretty simple in the past when buying video games; you head to a game specialist like GameStop. Today you may not be wise to do just that, shopping around at the big stores that sell everything could be a good option.
Best Buy sells a wide range of goods, and they have undercut traditional gaming stores many times. So where will you be shopping for games this Black Friday in 2009?
When looking at GameStop’s 2009 Black Friday ad, and comparing it to Best Buy’s gaming ads, we see some interesting things. Both stores will do a better deal on certain games, like Fallout 3 for PS3 and Xbox 360 being $49.99 in GameStop’s Black Friday ad, and only $19.99 in Best Buy’s.
Best Buy also have has the new FIFA Soccer 10 game as a doorbuster deal; it’s selling on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for just $34.99. Where you shop should depend on what games you want, so check out Best Buy’s Black Friday ad here, and Game Stop’s here.
