Xbox LIVE Gold for Free: Just for Weekend
Filed under: Gaming, Xbox 360

Microsoft must feel that they need more members to subscribe to their Xbox LIVE Gold package, which is why they have decided to offer the subscription for free. The offer for free access to Xbox Live Gold runs from today until Monday, so you had better sign in.
According to PC World, the membership normally costs $50 for a year; this will give Xbox 360 users full access to Facebook, Twitter, Last FM, online multiplayer and so much more. Oh sorry did we forget to mention Netflix for streaming movies and TV shows.
For those with a silver Xbox Live account, then you do not need to waste valuable gaming time by registering your details. You will still have to offer a few details though, such as online gamer profiles.
This means that Xbox 360 users will spend the whole of their weekend on their console, so do not expect to see your loved ones much. Funny how Microsoft did not choose next weekend to offer access to Xbox Live Gold, maybe this has something to do with Black Friday.
Speaking of Black Friday, if you have been meaning to purchase an Xbox 360, then Black Friday will be the perfect time. Read our recent article where you will learn all the latest “BF deals on the Xbox 360” games consoles.
