Firefox PS3 Rumors: Mozilla Responds

We recently reported that Sony were in talks with Mozilla to implement its Firefox browser on the PS3. We had all assumed this rumor to be true as it did not seem that too far fetched, but Mozilla have responded.

Bored of all the rumors ps3center.net thought that they would go direct to Mozilla and ask them directly, just to see if there was any truth to the rumors. They replied by saying “Nope – not sure how that rumor got started but it’s been keeping us busy all day ”

Well it seems that this is one of the latest rumors to be found untrue, I wonder what rumor will be next, maybe the so-called Apple Tablet, even PC World thinks that this does not exist.

This is not the first time that the original source of the story has been proved wrong. The source that started the rumor actually said that this news would be announced at GamesCom; I wonder what they will come up with next?
