Walmart Black Friday 2009 Ads: HP G71-329WM Laptop

Walmart have recently made their Black Friday 2009 ad available, and we can see that laptops, TVs, cameras, video games and toys feature highly. One laptop that looks set to do well is the HP G71 329WM Laptop, but there are not many details to go on.

We know that the laptop has a 17.3-inch LED display and that it comes with 4GB of RAM. There is a 320GB hard drive and comes complete with Windows 7 64-bit. Not many laptops have a numeric keypad, but this large model does.

The only other thing that we can tell you about the HP G71 329WM Laptop is its price, just $398. Who would have thought that you could own a 17-inch laptop for a little under $400, well you can on November 27, 2009, Black Friday.

The next laptop with that same kind of spec from Wal-Mart will cost you $498.00. This will get you the Acer, also with a 17.3-inch screen. This blue laptop comes with 4GB of RAM and pre-installed with Windows 7 Premium.

We looked at the HP 17.3″ G71-329WM at Walmart. The Celeron processor in this puppy is a single core leaving the unit gringing away at the hard drive looking for memory once you put 160 GB or so on it, which is easy to do.

I bought one HP G71-329WM from Walmart. It does not have the HDMI port even though that is usually standard on the G71. I was disappointed with I tried to hook it up to by LCD tv.
