Black Friday ads and limited inventory in 2009
By: Peter Chubb | November 19, 2009 | Leave a CommentAs each year passes, Black Friday seems to begin earlier and earlier, 2009 being a fine example of this. November 27 is a day etched in people’s minds and written in their diaries or calendars, this is the day when shoppers can get themselves a bargain.
There is a problem with these Black Friday sales though; something that affects all of us, and that is retail stores with limited inventory. Alishops.com say that there are a few tips that you could read, which will hopefully help you to avoid disappointment.
The first piece of advice is to always look at the latest Black Friday ads made available by the retails stores. Black Friday is hard for both the consumer and the retailer, they have to handle the huge number of shoppers passing through their doors, as well as make certain that they try to have enough stock of a sale item.
These retailers are also stocking lower numbers than last year, once Black Friday was over; they had a huge amount of inventory left over. The retailers have to make certain that they get the balance just right.
If a shopper is clever enough and spends time looking at what they hope to purchase and check if their local store has that item, then there is less chance of disappointment.
