ASUS Eee PC 1201N: Video and Specs

We first mentioned the existence of the ASUS Eee PC 1201N about two months ago, since then more details have become available. This latest edition to the Eee PC range comes with a 12.1-inch screen, which you can see clearly on the video that Engadget have provided.

So let us take a closer look at those spec details now we know more. Firstly there is that 12.1-inch LED-backlit screen, the downside to this is that it is a little on the glossy side. However, that is just a small price to pay.

The larger than normal netbook is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Atom 330 processor, you then have a choice from 2GB to 3GB of RAM as well as a choice of 250GB or 320GB hard drive.

The ASUS Eee PC 1201N comes installed with Windows 7 Premium and is kept running with a 6-cell battery. The starting price is just $499, which looking back at those specs, is a good deal.
