Apple Tablet PC Update: Either Dead or Never Existed
Filed under: Computers, Portable Computers & Tablets

Following on from our story this morning that the so called Apple Tablet PC has been delayed again, we were left wondering how long we will have to wait to see the launch of the product. PC World has been taking a closer look at things and has come up with some interesting answers.
The rumored Apple Tablet was thought to have a price tag of more than $2000, which in itself was destined to fail. There were also rumors that magazine publisher, Conde Nast, were to develop products for the new tablet. This does seem stupid, as none of us know if the device exists.
PC World has come to the conclusion that the Apple Tablet is dead or it never existed in the first place. The reason for this is simple, there is no proof of the device and the rumors of a release date keep getting pushed further and further back.
The rumored released date was due to be March 2010, this has now been pushed back to the second half of 2010. The reason for the delay was due to Apple making a number of component changes, along with them planning to launch a smaller version of the tablet.
PC World concludes that although the idea of an Apple Table PC is nice, it is something that is never going to happen.
