AMD Dual GPU Radeon HD 5970: Full Specs and Price

We have some good news for AMD fanatics now, as the company has just unleashed their new Radeon HD 5970 graphics card on the public. It has a dual-GPU so you can imagine what this baby will be able to handle.

As reported from BGR, the rest of the specs are truly impressive, as it features 4.64 teraflops per GPU, a 725 MHz engine processor, 2 GB of GDDR5 RAM and a 1 Ghz memory clock.

Before you ask, the 5790 will have full support for Direct X11, Open GL 3.2, and Open CL 1.0, while the processor can also be overclocked if you wish to do so.

As for price, expect to pay around $599 if you want to take one home. It is available to buy now. Will you be heading for this card straight away?
