By: Jamie Pert | November 18, 2009 | Leave a CommentAccording to a recent article posted on PlayStationInsider it seems that Sony may well be in talks with Mozilla, possibly meaning that we may one-day see a Mozilla based web browser on the PlayStation 3 in the future.
PlayStationInsider believe that the source who has leaked the story is a very reliable source who works very closely to Sony.
Since the PlayStation 3 release one consistent complaint has been with the consoles web browser, given Mozilla’s success with their Firefox browser it would be no surprise if Sony are seeking some of Mozilla’s expertise.
It is unclear whether a deal has already been made or if negotiations are still in progress, as we find out more we will keep you informed.
