Sanyo 50-inch plasma 720p HDTV: Walmart Black Friday Rumor

A couple of days ago the Walmart Black Friday 2009 Ad had been leaked on the Internet, those who posted the ad scan were forced to take it down, but this has not stopped people learning what deals they will be offering. One of the most popular items will be the Sanyo DP5074750-inch plasma 720p HDTV.

According to CNN, Wal-Mart are currently selling the TV for $898.00, if the rumors are true then the Black Friday offer on the TV will be just $598. If you want this TV then make sure you are in the queue for 5 a.m. on November 27.

The Sanyo DP5074750-inch plasma only offers 720p HD display, but the quality of the picture is still much better than Standard Definition. There are a number of inputs, including HDMI, ideal for connecting up your Sony PS3 and other similar devices.

The TV comes with a massive 50-inch screen; so make certain that you have enough space in your room before you go ahead and queue up for hours to get it. The 8,000:1 contrast ratio seems a little low, but it will still offer vivid colors, blacks and whites.

    I bought this TV in Walmart on 11/28/2009 at $598.00 which is one day after Black Friday. I checked with the sales people over there and they said Walmart has a normal sales every Saturday. So I guess even no Black Friday they were still selling at $598.00 in the whole weekend. Yesterday I went to Walmart again and they changed the price to $698.00. Still it is a very good TV as I compared with other full 1080p HTDTV in Walmart and found that actually it has no difference and the color even much better.

    i just purchased this wonderful plasma today 12/1/2009 $698 it has 3 hdmi connections and 2 componet connections. i had upgraded to this 50 inch plasma from a 42 inch samsung that was 1080 and i find this tv to be so much better!!
    it has great sound and picture, and my wii, xbox 360, dvd recorder, blue ray player, cable box and my computer are all hooked up to it at the same time with plenty of room to dock my ipod and digital camcorder or camera. i love this large tv with lots of componet space and great sound and picture as much i loved the great LOW price!! i still feel like i stole it!!! i dont mind paying the extra 100 dollars not to have to stand in line on black friday!!

    This TV is "JUNK" if you havnt already bought it dont. Mine has gaven me fits from the volume cutting in and out to not wanting to turn on. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

    this tv doesnt work i have had mine for a month and a half and having problems with the audio. Wlmart doesnt even sale it any more!!!!!!!!

    TV screen dies in 4 months – bought it just before xmas 2009, March 2010 screen goes black. Dropped it off for warranty service, and Sanyo still hasn't shipped warranty invoice to repair shop to fix the tv…..

    I bought this TV at Walmart the day after black friday last year and it is so awesome!! the color and sound are outstanding. Where can you get a TV like this for $598 bucks??? AWESOME!!

    well i bought this tv onblack friday 09 and 2 months later i had to take to the shop b-cz the tv turns off & on by itself but sanyo paid all and yeah the audio goes off once in while and there a couple black lines on top of the screen sometimes whenever i switch to the HD channel take a little longer whike the screen is green i dont if u guys had the same issues?
