
Modern Warfare 2: First Five Days On Sale, Breaks Records
By: Jamie Pert | November 18, 2009 | Leave a CommentWhen Modern Warfare 2 was released it managed to set records for sales within its first 25 hours of sales, it now seems that the extremely popular game has set more records.
According to a recent article on MCV (see here) the game has set a new record for amount of sales that have taken place in its first five days, this has not yet been confirmed.
There were also records set for Microsoft’s Xbox Live statistics, according to MCV the day of the launch saw 5.2 million multiplayer hours take place, there were said to be 2.2 million unique gamers playing online, which is said to be a new record.
