Google Swirl: Experimental image search interface
By: Alan Ng | November 18, 2009 | Leave a CommentGoogle has just unveiled and announced a brand new experimental service called Google Swirl. It takes the ever popular Google Images one step further by giving you much more customization options with your image search results.
As taken from the official Google Blog, Google Swirl takes your search result and instead of listing relevant images on a page, it will ‘swirl’ a selection of images together in a slick new interface.
To see an image example of this, you can head over to the Google Blog and see for yourself. Google states that currently, the service will work for ”more than 200,000 queries” with plans to expand on this number soon.
Have you already sampled Google Swirl? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Full details and sample images over at the official Blog.
