Christmas 2009 Gift Ideas: Share Yours

Christmas 2009 is almost upon us, this means that we will now have to start thinking about what gifts we have to buy for each other. In the first few years of my relationship with my wife choosing a gift was easy, as time goes on and we accumulate more possessions, choosing that perfect Christmas gift becomes a hard task indeed.

I am not saying that my wife is hard to buy for, my wife; mother and father, brother and my closest cousin are all having trouble finding a gift for me. I must admit I am a nightmare to buy for. When someone says I have an idea and they tell me, I then tell them that I do not want it, as I like surprises.

There area few things that I would like, but I live in a small place so would not be practical. I am not looking forward to these next few weeks, how will I ever come up with a long list when I struggle to purchase something for myself these days. I have most things that a man could need; I have my iPhone 3GS, MacBook Air, 40-inch Full HD TV, GPS System, loads of clothes and a loving family. I ask you, what more do I need?

I am sure that I am not the only one with this problem, I also have to buy a nice gift for my cousin, but he too has everything. Maybe I should give him a joke present. I remember one birthday I could not think what to get him so I bought him a bunch of flowers for a laugh as his wife had done before, he said that it was his best gift as it was so funny. Maybe not the second time round though.
