BlackBerry Storm2: Released on TELUS, 3-year minimum contract

Good news if you are a TELUS customer in Canada now, as we’re pleased to report that the BlackBerry Storm2 9550 handset is now available to buy both in-store and online from their website.

As reported from BGR, customers will have to fork out a pricey sum of cash though if you want to take home a Storm2 – either handset only ‘or’ on contract as well.

TELUS has slapped a $599.99 price without contract, while those opting for a long term deal will have to pay $199.99 and commit to a 3-year minimum deal, paying at least $50 for a voice and data plan. Yikes.

On their website, TELUS highlights the fact that you save $400 if you decide on taking the Storm2 with a contract, but have the prices scared you off already?

What do you think TELUS customers? Hit or Miss?
