Assassin’s Creed 2 walkthrough shown on video

As many of you will be aware by now, Assassin’s Creed 2 was released earlier this week on the Xbox 360 and PS3. If you have been having problems during the single-player campaign mode, we have found a collection of video walkthroughs which may just help you out.

As reported from TechEBlog, a YouTube user known as VG Walker has kindly uploaded a ton of walkthrough videos, all of which you can see at his page here.

Alternatively, you can check out the first 6 parts over at TechEBlog, as they have embedded them on their site for you.

The video quality isn’t bad either, so if you are struggling on a particular part of the game, check out these videos as they might just do the trick.

    How do you find the map on the codex

    * Small spoiler Alert *
    After Desmond has that flashback to Altair and you play as him again – how do you climb the tower? I get to the middle of it and for the life of me I can’t get him to climb the pole. Anyone else having this issue?

    I’m having a small issue. When you play as Altair agian in Acre and climb that tower, i get to the middle of it but for the life of me i can’t get Altair to climb this pole to go higher. It’s like it’s not there for him to grab – but it’s the only thing to use to get higher. Anyone else having this issue?

    If you take a look at the original game’s walkthrough there is a ring to the side of the pole this is missing the this game so i to am stuck

    Hey all.
    Figured out how to do it…( this is for PS users.) Stand on the ledge directly infront of the pole. Hold R1 for 5 seconds the x and then release together.. he does a little super jump onto the pole. Hope that helps x

    step slightly to the left of the pole then hold R1 and X to get on top of the pole then climb to the top of the castle tower.

    Me to Rynn. have you had any luck yet? i can make that light do loops but thats it. my god it’s a pain in the back side….. has anyone do it yet? If so please let me know how you did it.

    get infront of the pole on the rail hold the RT and A for about 5 seconds then let go he will get on the pole

    guys i can promise you that its working just run on the wall and then stick to the wood side and it azio will grab the wood you have nice thing waiting there for you i finished the game yesterday

    What a load of crap. Yeah, you have to do that 5 second thing, it does work. Sucks that everybody has to find out by looking online though, thats impossible to know otherwise.

    Yep that works for the 360, Big thanks for that was going slightly mad with the lamp doing it’s impression of a fire fly and going walk about too. Looks like Ubisoft should have done a wee bit more testing.

    For Xbox it is the same, get in front of the rail and hold RT and A facing the rail release A and you will go right up and feel like an idiot for spending 10 minutes staring at the screen jumping up and down, getting you more and more frustrated, forcing you to pause the game and google how to get up the wall.

    hey guys i had the same problem ive finally done it. Hold R1 for 5 seconds like game master said (not sure if its vital) but the mistake i was making was a was pressing forward so he jumped at the door – DONT. Sit on the legde directly acing the door with the pole above it then hold R1 then tap X WITHOUT pressing forward

    Thnq GOD for that last explenation, there are some
    other vague explenations and ways told on the iNet
    but they didn’t seem to work for me. However this
    last one did the trick. Thank God.

    hold down R1 ND x WITH OUT touching the cortrol stick. dont move in any derection and face torwards the door while stadning on the ledge under neath the wooden pole
