Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10: Hands-on Video

By: Jamie Pert | November 17, 2009 | 1 Comment

For those of you who just can’t wait for the release of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 handset, a 10 minute video has recently been posted on SlashGear, this video can also be seen at the end of this post.

The video is pretty impressive showing a wide-range of aspects of the handset, the first impression you get is that the handset has a very sleek and minimal design.

The handset itself is pretty large and has a curved back, it isn’t exactly what you would call thin, however it is thinner than some competing devices.

The handset is running Android 1.6 which can be upgraded to 2.0, the handset is powered by a Snapdragon processor, the combination of the Android OS with a Snapdragon processor ensures that the handset runs very fast.

For me the most impressive features included the very intuitive environment along with impressive visual transitions and the extremely quick response from the accelerometer.

How do you think this handset will do compared to handsets such as the Motorola Droid and the iPhone 3GS?

Be sure to check out the video below for a very detailed hands-on.

Thanks for posting the video. I found this very useful.

I’ve not heard from any merchants when this will be available online, but I’m hoping I can get it on our website sometime in Q1 2010.

Looks like an awesome handset. Need to get myself a demo model to play with :-)
