Palm Pre and Pixi: Official Facebook App released

If you’re still deciding on whether to pick up a Palm Pixi handset, we have a bit of news that might aid you in your decision. How does an official Facebook app sound? It is now available for both the Palm Pre and Pixi.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, the Facebook app offers Pre and Pixi owners the chance to browse through a live unfiltered stream from your Facebook profile.

You’ll be able to ‘like’ and comment on your friend’s status updates on the move, while you’ll also be able to upload photos if you wish to.

That’s pretty much it, as all the other features such as messaging, event checking and so on, are not included. For all those looking to try it out, you’ll need version 1.3.1 of webOS.
