Modern Warfare 2: Your best weapon and perk setup?

I think the PS3 version of this game has better texture, but runs at a little slower framerate than the XBOX360.

right now I have the m16 with the holographic sight and slieght of hand, hardline and steady aim as the three perks. I have final stand as my deathstreak and care package, pred missile and ac130 as killstreaks.

I mainly use two different type of weapons,
1. RPD as main weapon with grip and spaz-12 for secondary. Throwing knife and stun grenades. Sleight of hand, stopping power and steady aim.

2. M16 with holographic sight and spaz-12. Throwing knife and stun grenades. Sleight of hand, stopping power and steady aim.

My kill streaks are mainly Attack Helicopter, Chopper Gunner and Care Package.

Akimbo P90s with rapid fire, thumper secondary.

I have a UMP5 with Red Dot sight and silencer due to my bling – which is now pro – perk. I also have stopping power pro, and steady aim pro. My equipment is a claymore – as enemies always seem to flank me. My killstreak rewards are: UAV, Careb package – Awesome awesome little randomized device – and…meh i forgot the name of the chopper – the heavy armoured one – that you can call after 9 kills. I’m pretty rapeage. In my last game, i got 33 kills, and 3 deaths.

I use the scar h with holographic site 2nd stinger and my perks r scavenger steady aim and stopping powder

Scrambler is a terrible perk kid, it messes up your opponents radar when you’re near them so pretty much they know when you’re near them, use something else

When I am not unlocking guns or going for certain score related things I prefer one of two setups.

The light machine gun “the auger” is wicked with a silencer. The silencer cuts back the noise and reduces the kickback for better aim. sleight of hand is a must, stopping power pro, either cold blooded or ninja.

Every “PERK” is a good “PERK”. The only time a perk is bad is if someone used that “PERK” ineffectivley. IF you are to play standard team deathmatch which is full of noobs who have not yet unlocked cold blooded and ninja then I would use a heartbeat sensor, however, I play only hardcore so the need for that would be a waste. Most people use Cold Blooded Pro and Ninja Pro. Heart beat sensor is not an effective perk.

Every “PERK” is a good perk if utilized for the proper conditions. Anyone who has played, prestiged and gone all the way in any of the COD games would know that.

Me on the other hand – I do it all, I camp, I run and gun and sometimes I do both pending the map and the type of people that is on my team and who my opponents are. IF you don’t factor any of these variables into your decision before setting up your loadout, then you are a fool.

I run 2 main load outs:
1. 50 cal barrett with silencer and FMJ
rp2000 with silencer and FMJ
Bling Pro / Cold Blooded Pro / Ninja Pro
Claymore / 2 stun
K-streak – care package / emergency drop / AC 130
D-streak – final stand
( emergency drop is 4 packages for me “AND” my TEAM.

as far as i can see as long ans you can stay alive long enough to get the Harrier ou get the other 2 kill streak rewards in seconds also make shore you only have 1 up at a time to get the most use out of them not much point having 2 things shooting at the same target.

he’s right actually. as my name says.. all it does is set them up to start hunting you down. i have little to no trouble ever finding who is around me after i know they are there cuz the scrambler. and i normally kill them before they know i’m there… you should use something else and be more open to suggestions.. and be less of a dick.

also.. you should rely on your map as much as you sound like you do.. cold blooded will f*ck your day up.. what good is your map if you dont see anybody on it? except for when some kid comes by with a scrambler so you know they are there. then its good.

i dont see how they’re for campers.. i’m not seen on UAV or HBSensors.. i am free to move around almost completely unnoticed and while killing those who dont know i’m coming.. i guess i’m a camper.. fml?

I like this one because even though its a sniper, you can use it like a semi-auto assault rifle, only with way more damage. the only issue really is the mag size which wont be an issue with extended mag

Somehow they have managed to smuggle a molotov filled with cloroform into the game too.

I use 3 classes not just one main.

1: Barrett .50cal with thermal scope, claymore, smoke grenade, sleight of hand pro, stopping power pro, and steady aim pro. secondary spas-12 with grip and death streak final stand.

2: Aug Hbar with acog scope and grip, frag, flash grenade, bling pro ,hardline, steady aim pro. secondary spas 12 with grip and red dot and death streak final stand.

3: Famas with holographic, frag, flash, sleight of hand pro, hardline, and scrambler pro. secondary is either spas 12 with grip or m93 raffica. death streak final stand.

I have another sniper class with a Wa200 and then a 5th class i use to take down choppers if they r annoying with a p90 red dot, scrambler pro, cold blooded, and sleight of hand.

I’m a big fan on the One Man Army perk.
Although I do like Scavenger as well.

That being said, my typical loadout for any map with good sniping spots includes:

This class enables you to plant up to two claymores at a time instead of one (mind that you pick the same class using one man army) ensuring that most (if not all) entrances to your designated sniping spot are covered. At the very least it acts as an early warning system.

It helps to have a wingman with a submachine gun/shotty to cover you while you plant the claymores and also to taking out any tangos that happen to slip by your early warning system.

I have a similar class using the M16 with Holographic sight as my primary weapon and replacing cold blooded with stopping power.

Usually I will swap between both classes depending on the situation. I do like placing multiple claymores so I can have all flanks covered.

If a sniping spot is compromised, I’ll switch to the M16 class and move to my secondary spot.

Wash, rinse, repeat. It’s quite demoralizing for the other team when you go 31 – 0 on team deathmatch .

Dude best hardline thing to go with is aug hbar with thermal scope and grip, hardline, steady aim and car package, harrier, and ac 130 or choppeer gunner as ur killstreak

I do like the tactical knife attachment with the pistol as it gives you an edge for melee attacks. I use the magnum or desert eagle with the tactical knife if I want to change things up.

I guess it is up to your personal preference. I just unlocked the Model 1887 again and I’m actually preferring that over the striker due to the fact that the range of this shotgun is second to none. Add akimbo to the Model 1887 and you can lay waste on most close to midrange engagements.

Emergency airdrop would not be the best thing because they do not go torwards you kill streaks.

The best i think would have to be 7 Harrier 11 copper gunner and then the 25 Nuke.

Why are so many people mad when your use a tube? Dude I am Lvl 32 and seem to only be comfortable with a tube on my scar or a P90 rapid fire with a red dot or a scope. I can pump a clip or 2 at some one and get shot once and die with them still standing. What am I doing wrong besides sucking?

Im a LVL 65 Prestige and I average a 5-1 kdr.
On the PC i feel sound is more important so thats why i need
silent footsteps. Also, UMP is powerful enough and has like no recoil.

If u want the best set-up? U should have 5 weapon set-ups! They give you 5 for a reason u target practice noob F**KS!!Thats y u get fuc*ed up all the time by people like me! Theres no way 2 sets off weapons are your best option when there are so many maps! I have 5 setups so i f*ck ppl up like u on every map. Am i fu*k typing all 5 of my set-ups, cant be ars*d! But my real ar*e r*aping weapon set-up is Pc90-Akimbo-Fire rate.. Gloch-Akimbo-Silencer..Equipment-Semtex Special grenade-Stun Perk 1 OBVIOUS!! Agreed it makes sense to only put one air support craft up at a time, but in that case, don\’t you find the Harriers will take you all the way up to Chopper Gunner, effectively skipping the opportunity to use the Pave Low?

I guess it depends on the flow of the game, of course.

M16 with the red dot just cause its more pin point and my secondary is akimbo ranger shot guns. my perks are sleight of hand pro stopping power pro and steady aim pro. My deathstreak is martyrdom and my kill streaks are Predator missile Pave low and AC130. My equipment is a claymore and 2 flashbangs.

Although I am only in the low thirties I prefer the Scar-H with the grenade launcher attachment and the G18 with FMJ or Akimbo. For my equipment I usually have Semtex and a smoke screen. My perks are Scavenger Pro, Hardline Pro or Cold-Blooded Pro, and Steady Aim Pro.

The Scar is a good all-around weapon and the grenade launcher is great mixed with a smoke screen in camping holes like the underground area of “Wasteland”. The G18 with FMJ provides a rapid firing side arm which will spray through walls and doors. Scavenger Pro provides an unlimited supply of explosives and ammo. This is a very good combination, but sometimes looked down on.

If you jus wanna run and gun either the tar-21 or p-90 would be best with stoppoin power,sleight of hand and commando.
But if you trying to get the nuke the Scar-h has helped me alot as well the Famas. You cant run and acquyire the nuke. Camping in a small quadrant of the map is the best.
Also putting Claymores on and Scavenger which would reload the claymores everytime you pick u ammo you can easily hold down a location.

ive been playing for quite sometime now and im a 2nd prestige 67 and ive found out that the tar with a heartbeat sensor and a silencer work well. my secondary weapon is a USB .45 tactical knife silenced. my perks are bling pro, coldblooded pro, ninja pro. my death streak is final stand. my kill streak rewards are harrier, chopper gunner and nuke. my load out is great for search and destroy or head quarters.

Update: Secondary weapon is Ranger Akimbo. Four well placed shots can take down four tangos. I usually fire one gun at a time since I’m usually in a situation where I’m taking on 2+ tangos in CQC conditions. I can fire and reload at the same time if needed.

1887′s (in my opinion) have a bit longer of a lag when switching, firing, and reloading. I realize the range of the 1887 is greater than the Ranger, but the akimbo spread is tighter with the Ranger.

Killstreaks: Harrier, Chopper Gunner/AC130 (Depending on Map), Nuke

Claymore placement is vital especially when facing marathon & lightweight enemies. I tend to “lead” the claymore a little more if I know I’m playing against someone with both perks.

i really only play hardcore so anything works i guess.
you have unlimited sprint and fast kniving so you can just run around the map and be stabhappy, after prestiging using the preset class with it, i reached level 10 within probably 15 minutes. when i snipe i use claymores. and scavenger pro so you can basically set yourself up in an area and recollect claymores off fallen enemies and have more than one. works pretty well.

Everything else is still being tested to find what suits me. So far this is the best i can find for those who are good at normal sniping and quickscoping. Other perks that have been considered and should also be tried are lightweight pro, steady aim and steady aim pro.

You rarely snipe but you have fall camo? wow! I am about 60% sniper whenever i play and i still only have red tiger.

I use ACR W/ holographic sight, then as perks, bling pro, stopping power pro and steady aim pro, and as my killstreaks i use – Pred missile – 5 kills
then – harrier strike – 7 kills
and then – pavelow – 9 Kills

instead of claymore you should be using something more suited to what you will be doing, e.g. claymores will be good for snipers (if i hear it go off, i can switch to my secondary and finish the enemy off if s/he is still alive), but you should be using grenades because I can imagine you will be moving around alot and not just stay in one place, i recommend semtex cos its good if you need to get out of close quarters situations quickly. I usually use it if i’m not sniping anyway thats just my POV.

Once you get 4 kills, press the button to bring out your marker. Once you do this, when you run, you should be noticabaly faster when you run. You can also knife faster, so coupled with the highly mobile SMG and handgun tacknife, this is the perfect class for knifers.

Use LMG for ur primary for extra fire-power against helicopters and harriers.

Varies, depending on map/game style/team. For a team consisting of alot of low rankers/bad players (aka n00bs) I always have a UAV to “help” them not suck so much lol.

Well, that’s my basic setup. Sometimes I’ll swap the Primary attachments around (like FMJ instead of Silencer) depending on the battle conditions. Two other Primaries that I’ll use sometimes, with the exact same loadout setups, are the M4A1 and the ACR.

I also have one class that I purely designate as my “Anti-Air” Class. With that loadout I use:

Primary: RPD w/Grip

Secondary: Stinger

Equipment: Blast Shield(for AC130 Splash Damage) and Stun

PERKS:

Slight Of Hand (Pro)
Cold Blooded (Pro)
Ninja (Pro)

Deathstreak:

Painkiller

Slight of Hand is nice for reloading another Stinger missle fast, since you get two, nice to get around “flares” with. Cold Blooded keeps you invisible to your air targets, allowing you to shoot them down safely. Ninja keeps you slightly safer from ground enemies Heartbeat sensors to give you time to shoot down air support. And Painkiller is just there if you keep getting “un” lucky lol.

Tired of marathon/lightweights sprinting past your claymores or scramblers sneaking by?

This takes a bit of time to setup, but I have found this effective.

I have a couple OMA (One Man Army) classes, one with C4 and another with Claymore.

Claymores have a “cone” explosion based on where you point it and C4 has a “sphere” explostion.

I place my claymore at whatever chokepoint needs to be covered, then place a C4 pack next to it, via OMA.

The marathon/lightweight will still trip the claymore. Plus if you hear a click and no explosion (for those scramler pros) you can use detonate your C4.

Claymore exploding with C4 = no more marathon/lightweight/scrambler

Couple that with Danger Close perk and people will think twice before running at you.

Just make sure you are away from the blast radius.

Lately, I’ve been keen with the UMP 45 and FAL with either silencer, red dot, or holographic sight as 3 bullets will kill from any range. There isn’t that much of a damage drop off for either weapon while using a silencer so either gun is great for any stealth based class you create. Just be sure to fire in bursts for long range targets using the UMP.

I still think that OMA is vastly underrated as a perk. When used properly, you can adjust to whatever the enemy throws at you.

Once I get my harrier, I usually use OMA to get to any class with Danger Close Pro so my air support is more effective.

OMA Pro, Hardline Pro, any 3rd tier perk (to get killstreak sooner)
OMA Pro, Danger Close Pro, any 3rd tier perk (once I get my Harrier)

Definetely a big fan of OMA. Works great in S&D for the extra claymore or to switch to a quick cold blooded class in case of UAV/air support. I have it on 3 of my classes so I can quick swap between stealth, speed, or power. I don’t play much besides S&D or hardcore modes just because I really hate it when you kill a guy and he respawns and brings his buddies to kill you. No killcam = one happy camper =)

Btw battousai I tried your C4/claymore combo at Favela and it’s a winner. Got a triple kill in S&D by setting it by the bomb. 2 players left on our team at the B bomb while the enemies were at A when a guy went prone and crawled right into my claymore/c4 killing him and 2 of his buddies. It felt really good lol.

@aaron he boosted lol. everyone does. Get a friend and go to 3rd person cage and have them join ur match and itll be 1v1s were u can do anything.

I have a couple of classes, really.Sometimes i run and gun, sometimes a camp a little, and sometimes (but very rarely) i even snipe.
The class i used to use, which is pretty good but i just dontfind it fast enough, is:
Aug hbar with thermal and heartbeat sensor. (which i now belive is a very bad idea due to the ninja perk…)
secondary: TMP if im feeling fast ;D, or javelin for the copters and harriers an uavs ect.
with bling pro
cold blooded (almost pro, 3 more helis.)
and last stand.
i use tactical insertion and flash nades.
the deatstreak i use is final stand.

The class i have been using today is the mini uzi with rapid fire, and the desert eagle as a secondary.i use throwing knife and flash grenades.The perks and deathstreaks are the same as the first class.
The mpk5 has also grown on me, its amazing with silencer and red dot sight ;O.
The killstreaks i use (after watching a vid on youtube today where all you need is a 5 killstreak to get like 45 kills in a team deathmatch using killstreak rewards.) are the predator missile ( 5 kills) the harrier airstrike (7 kills) and the emergency air drop (8 kills). the way that wholde 45 kills thing works is. : You get the 5 killstreak yourself.Call in a predator missile, and all you have to get from it is 2 kills. Then when you achieve the 2 kills, you call in the harriers. they will get you at least 1 kill… then your on an 8 kill streak (as long as you havent been running around likea madman whilst getting all of them ) And you call in the emergency airdrop. Now, depending on what you get, you can get a hella lot of kills from them. Put in youtube, how to turn a 5 killstreak into a 45 killstreak, it should come up. Its pretty cool =P. tryit out .

try the mpk5. Seriously light and you can run super fast with it. its a amazing gun too, and then, after you get some kills with it, put a silencer and red dot sight on it :O. also i prestiged a “few times” (5 times, cos i joined a cage match which was aperently hosted by some1 that knows how to hack). Anyway, when i joined, it the game suddenly turned into 3rd person FFA and i thought WTF theres 18 people here! so i killed 1 person, and suddenly i got promoted to rank 70. I asked wats up and they said they were prestiging so i decided i will too. 5 times.

having said that, AK47 works quite decent with stopping power, but the silencer really doesn’t make it any quiter for some reason. if the enemy doesn’t see u on the minimap, the’ll surely hear you.

Best class i’ve used is probably… AK silenced with scavenger, cold blooded and ninja… thats my stealth class, and my loud class is AK with Holographic and heartbeat, with Models Bling, with Bling, Stopping Power, Ninja.. Largest Champion Class Ever… btw NINJA IS THA SHIIIIT… if you pay attention to sound, and use ninja, you will get alot more kills… its the largest champion perk ever

Cool…i totally agree with wat u say about the AK. It is noticably louder than the other silenced weapons e.g. most SMG’s, snipers, and some of the other Assault rifles, although if u hav a silenced assault rife it kinda wrecks one of its main pro and turns it into a con; medium to long range full auto, into a short range full auto, so if u can up against an opponent who is at least decent with for example a mini uzi, expect the mini uzi to win, and with rapid fire mini uzi is just a beast.

BTW, the claymore/c4 setup also works for people who run around with a care package grenade and knife.

Right now I’m lvl 54 and averaging 23 kills and 6 deaths. My set up is the AUG with red dot and akimbo rangers as my secondary. My perks are scavenger pro, hardline pro, and commando pro. These are extremely helpful if you are the one to move from one campsite to another. Another good thing to use if you’re camping with this loadout are claymores and stun grenades

scrambler is a terrible perk, any player who uses there radar can tell when they are approaching as it fuzzs out-more so the closer they get- the onlyy thing its good for is delaying claymores… if you wanna be invisible use cold blooded and silencer youll never show up on the radar.

i dont get the hype about the m16 its not that great, however those who have a good aim i suggest the ACR as it is so accurate that each shot lands pretty much exactly where the last shot did

I agree that scrambler is terrible as it can work against you. I usually use Ninja Pro as my 3rd perk because being able to move without making a sound is key. Plus I love getting a drop on people who rely on the heartbeat sensor too much.

The ACR to me is so-so. I do like the fact that it is the most accurate full-auto assault rifle, however it lacks a bit of power in my opinion. Couple that with a silencer and you really have to use stopping power to compensate for that.

For close combat situations I’ll give the ACR an edge over the M16 due to the automatic fire.

I use the M16 due to its power. Plus since this is a burst shot and there is a slight rise I tend to get more headshots (even when aiming at the upper body).

Based on your loadout, have you tried using the UMP45? There is minimal dropoff of power when equipped with a silencer and it is surprisingly accurate at long range (when firing in controlled bursts).

well siliencer is pretty gud for an UMP because it actually reduces recoil and increases accuracy but limits ur range which sucks for an smg but for lmg’s grip is the best

I think the switch time is 3 seconds for the pro version and 5 seconds for non-pro.

I go with scar basic marathon, lightweight and the melée distance one. I’ll get a care package ready hold the little canister thing so it makes me faster and also tactical knife. Then I’ll just run round like a madman carving people up. Primitive you say? I bet ya all got pretty pissed when that asshole with the knife kept ending your kill streak, hahahahahahhahah whahahahaha

Unfortunately for you “mailman-knifer” types, a patch is coming where sprint speed is normal even if you hold a care package grenade. I think it is already out for the PS3 and will soon be out for the 360.

Not that it matters, I still find it quite funny when “primitives” run into a “simple” Claymore/C4 combo.

What’s even funnier is that I keep setting it up and primitives think that they can get past those explosives and in turn give me a nuke.

Needless to say, those primitives dropped out before the next game started.

SP is overrated, it doesn’t do much, and the accuracy on weapons doesn’t matter, neither does the base stats. That is just estimated guesses by MW2 creaters. Don’t listen to the hype…=P find your weapon that your comfortable with. And reak havok, happy raping..=P

People say camping is crappy. But people who camp, pop up the most kills from little inexperienced rushers. People who camp get killstreaks like it’s nothing, just watching you run-by. Listen, some people don’t check there corners, and just run out there. Especially people wanting First-Blood. Or when it’s the last kill to win. Rush out there, at a group of peopel with a shotgun. Why? why not just sit it back and avoid maybe going negative. You can more for your team by not dying than getting kills as well. =P I camp on small maps, rush on big. Watch my corners. I might get a nuke around 4500 points or so. Not near the beginning.

My favorite sniping setup:

Then usually semtex, but claymores and tactical insertion are also great for snipers – depends on your style of play. Sitting around or moving around will dictate where you get your mileage out of equipment.
Then stun again or smoke or flash depending on your pref.

(I’ll use cold blooded with WA2000 as SP doesn’t bring it’s two hit kills up to one hit kills, just 98 dmg in the torso, read up elsewhere. sometimes also hardline to get rewards faster)

I never use stopping power when equipping the WA2000. Usually it is a one-shot kill if you hit the upper torso or higher.

However, when playing hardcore I’ll switch to the M21 EBR due to the ammo capacity.

I’m sure other people would agree that your setup doesn’t really add up.

It may have been more believable if:
1) you ran with cold blooded
2) had a killstreak setup that was a 4,5,7.
3) used other weapons (Spaz? There are better shotguns than that!)

Running lightweight pro is great until someone on the other team calls some kind of air support.

Everyone has played against a run n’gunner, but I have never seen a someone with a load out like that get a nuke.
Against a solid team on hardcore (or even regular) team deathmatch you would get picked apart. Once the game is done the run n’ gunner k/d ratio is usually around 1.0. Sure you’ll get a lot of kills, but against a good team you’ll get killed as well possibly getting you in the negative once they lock down a location.

Why would you even consider using a stealth bomber if you are trying to get a nuke? Typical kill streak set up that I’ve seen is Harrier, Chopper Gunner/AC130 to build up to it.

Either you’re playing against a bunch of scrubs with no skill, or you’re inflating your numbers.

The p90 is my favorite gun, cuz it can fill any role, even support gunning due to the 75-round clip and long-range combat because it has little recoil. It also keeps me fully mobile, which is important since I mostly play free-for-all.
I can never decide between stopping power and hardline…
I get maybe a fifth of my kills in last stand, mostly cuz akimbo Mags can kill super fast. FMJ means I can finish off people through walls easily, which is common in last stand. Semtex is good too. Final stand is basically an extension of last stand.

I agree with MW2GOD Cold Blooded & Ninja Pro enemy dont see you coming…. and if you awnt to camp, what’s wrong with that? It’s funny but camping always critisized from early days of COD, but on other computer games (Battlefield 2) sniper seems to be regarded more positively. I tend to do what the map dictates Estate & Derail are sniper positive, the rest are more gung ho levels for me. Either way Cold Blooded & Ninja Pro give you the advantage.

Once I get my chopper gunner or AC-130, I usually relocate to a safer spot on the map (if possible – depends on how the game is going).

In addition, I’ll plant 1 or 2 claymores as a precaution (via OMA or scavenger).

Since you’ve been using the FAMAS, have you tried the M16? It’s stronger than the FAMAS so you could possibly switch stopping power for cold blooded.

Also, when sniping after taking 2-3 enemies down at one site I always relocate especially on regular team deathmatch. I can’t stress that enough. You can hang around a little bit longer on hardcore matches.

I find if you’re crafy with Claymores, like placing them on stairs or at the top of ladders they always hit for a kill. I notice that one runs slower up stairs and ladders……Even with marathon climbing is still slow enough to nail someone with a claymore.

If I have a specific spot Im camping I’ll place a claymore strategically, like around a corner or whatever then wait for the click, as soon as I hear that click it’s like a dead giveaway someone is coming. It doesnt always work but I’d say 80-90% of the time it does.

BTW, try switching your M4A1 for an ACR. It is much more accurate than a M4A1 since there is essentially no kickback using this weapon. I actually prefer the iron sights over the red dot or holographic sight when using this weapon since it has one of the best (if not the best) iron sights for all of the weapons.

You may want to change your second perk to anything but stopping power since the FAL gets a slight damage boost using the Holographic Sight. You can typically kill anyone with 3 shots from the FAL at any range without stopping power. The only benefit of using stopping power with the FAL is two shots at close range.

After playing this game and prestiging a couple times, I've used similar setups that have been posted. Ultimately, each setup depends on your play style.

I think OMA is vastly underrated as a perk. OMA gives you so many options based on how the game is going. The only drawback of OMA is the "changing" time (5 seconds default – 3 seconds Pro Version). The best way to negate that is to have a buddy cover you while you are changing classes or finding a good hiding spot.

The advantages of OMA that I have found:
- Can effectively counter marathon/lightweight/scrambler users through Claymore/C4 combo (see earlier post)
- OMA + Sitrep (to get a view of possible campers )
- Unlimited Ammo (no need to look for scavenger bags = infinite equipment/grenade launchers)
- Switch to a cold blooded class (to hide from or knock out enemy killstreaks)
- OMA + Danger Close (for more effective killstreaks except UAV/counter UAV/sentry gun/EMP/Tactical Nuke)

It is one thing to use OMA by yourself. It is much more effective if 2 or more people on a team use it.

why would you have bling on akimbo p90's? it makes no sense. you can only shoot from the hip with akimbo.

I got to say im lovin’ the p90 with a holographic sight, and ive blown alot of games geting my magnum to have a tactical knife. But all said and done I have to say on many cources i prefer the p90 holographic and side arm is the magnum or 357 with a tactical knife. Perks are marathon pro, lightwieght pro, and camando pro. with these perks and weapon set up i can get to the action in a hurry, sneak up on opponents, and hurry back to the bung hole that just shot me in the back and knife him in the face. its not often when i get killsteaks all the way but i use a preditor missile, harrier, and a pavelow. Even then when i first used it and still im averaging 25 kills on free for all and team deathmatch

i have a pretty good set up too. i use the M16 which is a awesome if you know how to use it. it works great at close range and long range. i then have stinger mislles to take down helis and airplanes. for equipment i got semtex because my favorite thing is to blow people up and throwing semtex is easier than frag.then i have 2 stung.then i have bling pro and i put on FMj and holographic or red sight.next i put on hardline. it makes it so much easier to get kill streaks. then i have ninja pro. it is great if you want to be silent and avoid heart beat monitors.

This is my regular setup:

One final note:
First get all killstreak(without using any of them) and then suicide. Then work out until at least harrier while using any predator. Then call in the harrier in one site of the map, then call in the pavelow and the other harrier on the other side of the map. You know have 3 things obilerating the map at once and with the last predator, you can get your second pavelow. Very good to do on Free for all since you can run the entire map like your own map while still racking up kills manually.

For Hardcore, I use this setup:

For fighting noobs:

The M21 EBR is pretty good with the ACOG because it acts pretty much like a FAL, but with better stats. Plus you can take the ACOG off and use it like a sniper.

Why use commando on a sniper class?

Depends on your style. I'm more of a "Run N' Gun" kinda guy. The classes I prefer:

Speed 1 (Hardcore or Sneak style):
Silenced UMP, PP2000 red dot, Symtex, Flash
->Marathon, Stopping Power, Ninja, Painkiller
Speed 2 (Commando based):
Rapid Fire MP5, M9 Tac Knife, Semtex, Flash
->Marathon, Lightweight, Commando, Martyrdom

Assault:
Silenced M4A1 [Bling - Grenade Launcher], Stinger, Semtex, Flash
->Sleight of Hand/Bling, Stopping Power, Ninja, Painkiller

Sniper:
Intervention FMJ [Bling - Heartbeat Sensor] (EBR when unlocked), PP2000 red dot, Claymore, Flash
->Sleight of Hand/Bling, Stopping Power, Ninja, Copy Class

*with the Sniper class, when playing Hardcore, my rifle will be Blinged with a Silencer and Heartbeat Sensor and I'll change Stopping Power to Cold-Blooded.

As mentioned before, it's all about personal style, and actually, mood. Sometimes its better to reel the Tangos in, or stretch out the legs and go gun them down before they can get to you. I also like to have the Look Sensitivity bumped up a little bit to turn and cut corners faster. It seems tough at first, but you'll get used to it.

I only put Nuke-25 on if people talk trash and i want to show them up. This killstreak allows me to get as many kills as possible.

This setup allows you to be invisible and powerfull at the same time. When you think an enemy knows where your at you switch to the third class. And if they try to snipe you, you switch to class 2. And when they come rushing at you, you switch to 1. And when you run out of ammo just switch to the same class. Which allows you to have unlimmited nube toobs. i get at least 30-50 kills a match on team deathmatch. If you dont believe me then try using this classes setups, it may take some time getting use to it but you'll get the hang.

i use either the FAMAS with ACOG sight and FMJ, pp2000 with fmj,Bling, stopping power and steady aim or a FAMAS with ACOG, pp2000 fmj, scavenger, scrambler and hardline

I agree it’s not the best class, but stopping power does help. If you can take one less bullet to kill then the person shooting at you, you have an advantage. I use a silenced ump with marathon pro, stopping power pro and ninja pro for hardcore

My favourite weapons are the p90 and the ACR.This is because I am a short range kind of player, and no wepon can win against the p90.
My p90 has silencer, and I use marathon pro, stopping power pro and commando pro.In my second weapon I use usp 45 with tactical knife which is incredible to use once you get it.I have alrady completed both these weapons' mastery.
I also think ACR is awesome cause its the best weapon long range, except for the sniper, but you don't have to keep still or camp, you can move freely throughout the map.

people who use thermal sensor are people who don't know how to play this game, and please don't get me started on noob tubes and bazookas.With the bazooka, they point like 5 metres to where you are and the kill u and many times themselves.Learn how to play the game!

That is pretty stupid, as ninja was setup to close range.For example, you can only get ninja pro if you do, like, 15 close range kills.

A run and gun class. Great for firing from the hip or aiming. P90 with its good clip size allows for easy double kills. I love my stingers I just laugh when I take out someones harrier/helicopter before it gets any kills. Hell I shoot UAVs out of spite.

"Green Perk": SitRep.
Reason for use: Rushing classes, or "running around classes", are used to pretty much have fun, and get small kill streaks. If you are looking for a nuke, this is not a suggested class.

2. "The Sniping class"
Primary Gun: Barrett 50 Cal w/ FMJ & Heartbeat sensor.
Secondary Gun: G18 w/ Fmj & Red dot sight.
Maps used for: Quarry, Afghan, Skidrow, Terminal, Rust.
"Blue Perk": Bling Pro.
"Red Perk": Stopping Power (Pro) or not. Either one works almost the same.
"Green Perk" Ninja Pro.
Reason for use: Sniping is great for people that like to stay alive for a long period of time. A good sniper user will always finish with more kills then deaths, in every match.

3. "The Fast Machine"
Primary Gun: Scar-H, Tar-21, ACR, Ak-47, M16, Famas, Mini Uzi, Ump. w/ Red dot.
Secondary Gun: AA-12, Spas, Model, or Machine Pistol.
Maps used for: Skidrow, Rust, Terminal, Estate, Karachi, Highrise, Underpass.

These are the classes I use mostly.

Advice from me: Try out different perk combos. That's what I did, and I ended up having my favourite perk class/combo like this:
"Blue Perk:" Bling Pro
"Red Perk" Danger Close
"Green Perk" SitRep.
I find this works well for all styles of gunnery. *Bling Pro* helps all guns by making it be able to have 2 attachments to your primary and secondary guns. *Danger Close* helps by making sure I don't die from explosives and car detonations when I am camping with Snipers or Hanging near a vehicle with a machine gun. *SitRep* Is very useful for situations like: Getting your camping spot back, but making sure no claymores are in your way. Or just running around a corner.

Danger close increases explosive weapon damage, and the pro version increases air support damage… How does that make you not die from car explosions and make you stay alive??

Chopper Gunner is over-rated, you do get many kills but the pave low gets similar kills plus you don't need as many to get it inthe first place. Having killstreaks close together is fun to have as you get them all at the same time :p

My perks are marathon pro, stopping power pro(takes to shots to kill if they within 40 feet 4-6 shots if farther), ninja pro(so that cant hear me) killstreaks are UAV, Predator, Harrier strike. I only play free-for-all and search thats why I have those killstreaks and not nuke set-up.

I also use the intervention with FMJ when i feel like quickscoping. perks- sleight of hand pro, stopping power pro, and either ninja pro or steady aim pro depending on if im gunna camp and snipe or run around and snipe. same killstreaks as my last comment secondary weapon is either pp2000 with FMJ or AA-12

AK-47 / Noob Tube Scavenger, Explosion perk, commando pro – ultime noob toob weapon. Just fun to play with a little

Danger close does not help you survive car explosions or any explosion for that matter!
Using the blast shield helps survive explosions (although an enemy with danger close can usually kill someone with a blast shield anyway).

Regarding sniping, I only use stopping power if using the EBR or the other three sniper rifles with a silencer attached.

Most snipers use cold-blooded and ninja to stay off the grid.

I always relocate camping spots after 2-3 kills.

Killstreaks:
For nuke – typical 7,11,25 or 11,15, 25.
Occasionally, I'll use the 11, 15, 25.
Once I get my chopper gunner or AC130, I'll wait until I get my EMP. I'll activate the EMP and I don't have to worry about my air support getting shot down. It's an easy 10 kills or more to acquire the nuke.

If I'm playing just for kills, I'll use Harrier, Pavelow, a CG or AC130. I'll only put up one killstreak at a time for maximum effectiveness.

I have tha scar and the models shotguns. i have bling pro so on my scar i have heart beat sensor and og scope and i have akimbo models with fmj. bling pro lets you have 2 attachments on both primary and secondary guns. then i have claymore which always gets me at least one kill. and i use flash bang whach is very helpful. i have hardline pro because my kill streak awards are set to high kill streaks. finally i have final stand as death streak and steady aim pro. i usaully get 19 kills and 12 deaths every game.

I like the class but I would highly recommend using the holographic sight. It puts down the recoil so all three shots hit more often.

The thermal scope works fantastic on derail or other snowy white levels.

ACR with silencer and red dot sight. Gets me about 20-25 kills a game. I have tact nuke, pred, and care pack as killstreak. Bling, Lightweight, and Commander perks

you are dumb – look at the different perks before you comment – hardline and cold-blooded = level 2

Blue Perk: Bling Pro- adds nessiscary attachments obviously

Secondary Grenade= Flash Grenade- Blinds opponants for an ungodly amount of time if hit directly
Death Streak: A lifesafer if you go on a killstreak after recovering from a deathstreak

Note if you aren’t good aiming with a pistol do not use deagle its not for spraying its for precise aiming if u spray you take a huge gamble because of the recoil

In tight indoor areas I always use deagle cuz its instant death if anyone gets close I got tact knife

Claymores get a lot of kills in S&D get creative where you plant them… If you’ve never tried them give it a shot you’ll be surprised at how many kills you get with the correct placement…

Classes should also be based on maps- I havnt posted all of mine but this one is very handy… Give it a shot

M4a1 is an under rated weapon, much like the ACR just less accurate, i use both of these depending on if i have gone all the way round so ACR is my prefered weapon, with a red dot and FMJ. aa12 with red dot and handle. perks are ninja, hardline and bling pro. this is a game of killing, not hiding, if i see your camping, even at a long distance, even if your heads only popping out i will kill you, snipers havent a chance, plus i hate snipers so the fact you die by an assult rifle means you suck haha….ACR is the gun. AA12 for close combat.

Why not change bling pro on the Intervention to sleight of hand pro? If you only have fmj on it there isn’t much point. Just my 2 cents. I’m going to try that vector setup too.

I think the scar with acog and fmj with an aa12 with a grip as secondary. The equipment is claymores and flash grenades. perks are bling2 and stopping power2 and steady aim. deathstreak is matrydom

Primary: SCAR-H (no bling as I like continuous sprint) with FMJ. Secondary: Either machine gun (can’t remember the name) with rapid fire, or the launcher. Grenades: Semtex and Stun. Perks: Marathon Pro, Stopping Power Pro, and the radar jamming one Pro. Death Streak: Final Stand. I don’t use Red-Dot as it takes up a valuable space for something which could increase the weapon capacity, and the silencer is whack! Reduces range and despite its advantage, so what. Let them see you… Just be ready when they do. Simple. Oh yeh, the Heartbeat Sensor comes in handy sometimes too, especially when someone jams whole teams radar.

Ya i Use the Goledn Uzi with FMJ for extra kick and Desert egail with the knife attachment. Perks i have unlimited sprint , faster moving , and commando !!! Makes for a very fast player and the Uzi and DE 7mm give you alot of punch and the uzi has the fastest firing rate ! so jus point and aim there dead plus with unlimited sprint makes it easy for commando to tear it up with knife kills !

there are different classes to use for different situations. for an all around weapon, you need something lightweight, powerful, and accurate.

the best all around class has the
ump 45 with acog-it has all the things above and more damage than the ak-47

commando-probably like, a third of your kills will be with a knife, youll need this.

When u get predator missile, it's about 90% change to get emergency as well. Sometimes Emergency gives you extremely great killstreaks (once i got chopper gunner, ac130, attack helicopter and precision airstrike) to get sick killstreaks and scores. My record is 5 emergency packages in one match (demolition).

5th prestige lvl 70 (Intervention ftw, semisnipers SUCK)

Hey guys my name’s nobreakingpoint, im currently 4th prestige 49. i have 38 total nukes, 4 without killstreaks and one with only a throwing knife and an m9 tac knife.

I know you guys are complaining cause it’s long and i have no life, but deal with it.

cold blooded (or if you’re good enough to avoid UAV’s and killstreaks, Stopping power)
ninja is a must have. no heartbeat sensor nubes…

so there’s my reccomendation. if you disagree, cool. its ok. one of those classes will eventually get you the nuke. but if you’re really good, like a sniper or a constant on the move player, silencers arent neccessary all the time. Hey nstaff23 i tried your setup, and its amazing… sorta. it runs out of ammo too fast and im deathly accurate. a few well placed shots to the head and they drop, but it ran out of ammo too fast to get my pavelow or harrier. so i tried ump acog scavenger pro and did much better. although i personally prefer sniper rifles and assault rifles over smgs. but you overall posted a five star class.

haha that’s funny, kid. a nooby sprayer… the rpd is amazing and if you tried it, you’d dominate the rpd has gotten me three nukes, on terminal, wasteland and scrapyard. its good for close range when several enemies come at you and you need to take them all out without only getting a few. you can keep on using your scar or your vector, i even do, but the rpd is beast

yeah dude obviously you’re just trying to make yourself look smart but in reality you’re making yourself look like a complete idiot… try running around while an enemy harrier, chopper gunner, and a pavelow are out with stopping power or anything else. when the enemy has air support, they feel like they wont die because they have backup, so they go careless. take advantage of that and pick them off with cold blooded and ninja. its not camping. you’re just some newbie who thinks you know the world up and down and really just suck and wanna take it out on someone who actually knows how to play the game. loser.

I've achieved the UMP.45 Mastery & Fall Camo. I love how the extended mags enable me to have more rounds at my disposal If necessary. The UMP Is awesome for stealth due the to high maneuverability but don't think just because it's a SMG that you can't get long shots… Ive had several long shots halfway across a medium sized ex.- sitting in the poppy field on Afghan bustmap and it will take them down 2-3 even with the silencer…(remember I only play Hardcore) The recoil on the UMP is not as great as the ACR but better than 75% of the other guns.

Now to the G18's. Akimbo G18's with extended mags spits a lot of lead, & with steady aim pro on they are actually accurate Ive killed many people. Most people would be hesitating to use their single secondary at the range Im mackin peeps with ( besides the M9, less powerful but extremely accurate)

i have had Modern Warfare since the week it came out and i have two accounts one of them is 1st prestige level 70 my other level 70 i have mastered nearly all the primary and secondary weapons all the perks are all pro so but the tar is one of the WORST guns i have used and i have call of duty 4,5 and 6 so but the AK47 is a good gun to use but what i prefair is single shooting guns like the fal and also 3 round burst like the M16A4 and the FAMAS

Haha, my record is 55 kills and 5 deaths, i had a multykill a time of 3 with my semtrex and had 2 times a chopper gunner.

Barrat + acog + fmj + stopping power = 1shot 1kill no matter where you shoot them. even in their big toe. Try this class out, its awesome. the acog sight means no pressing down on the left stick to hold it steady.

For those who prefer explosives rather than shooting or usually carry more than one explosive weapon not necessarily a noob tube.(this class is great for wasteland or a smaller map)

PRIMARY: Any, but for best results an assault rifle (w/ grenade launcher)opt.
SECONDARY: Either any of the launchers or a shotgun
GRENADES: Semtex or frag (whichever you're best at using) and any special grenade.

PERK 1: Scavenger Pro- refill explosives
2: Danger Close Pro- extra explosive damage
3: Any; I prefer Commando Pro

DEATHSTREAK: Martyrdom- Danger Close + Grenade = even more damage and better chance of getting a kill.

KILLSTREAKS: Anything that explodes: Predator missile, any air strike, AC-130 Danger Close Pro gives them enhanced destructive power and more damage from air support. (Air strikes can kill nearly an entire team on a smaller map if used in the right spot)
