Modern Warfare 2: Not Banned in Russia
By: Jamie Pert | November 17, 2009 | Leave a CommentYesterday we posted an article regarding the recall of Modern Warfare 2 in Russia, the recall was apparently due to the controversial airport scene which appears in the single player campaign.
According to an article posted today on Telegraph.co.uk it seems that Activision have now publicly addressed the issue, and according them the reports are erroneous.
Personally I found the news of the ban quite shocking, however somewhat justified, however Activision’s official statement has killed all of the rumors, they said “Reports that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been banned in Russia are erroneous. Activision only released a PC version of the game in Russia which went on sale on Tuesday, Nov. 10.”
