LG Chocolate Touch from Verizon Wireless: Full Review

By: Jamie Pert | November 17, 2009 | Leave a Comment

Cnet have recently taken a close look at the LG Chocolate Touch VX8575, the particular handset they looked at was on Verizon Wireless.

Just to refresh your memory the handset is LG’s first Chocolate handset with a touchscreen display, the display has a 3 inch diagonal and supports a resolution of 400×240.

Other specifications worth mentioning include the handsets 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1 and the handset also features Text-to-Speech (text recognition), you can find out more by checking out our previous article, or checking out Cnet’s specification page.

Cnet’s review is extremely detailed and can be seen here, some of the main points raised included an impressive music player, an equally good camera and a very responsive touchscreen, however it wasn’t all good news, one of the least impressive things about the handset is the disappointing web browser, also the handset is said to feature a pretty dated OS.

All in all it seems that the handset is great for users who are not interested in having the most intuitive handset, if you want a cheap, simple to use handset with good multimedia capabilities this handset could be for you.
