BlackBerry Touchscreen Slider: Coming Soon?

It seems that we may soon be seeing a BlackBerry Touchscreen slider phone released, this rumor seemed to stem from Shaw Wu from the Kaufman Bros.

How reputable this source is, is unclear, however if it is true the handset which is said to be the 9900 series is currently in its prototype stage.

A lot of prototypes never go into production, so it is possible that the handset will never be released, however if the handset goes into production we should see it sometime in 2010.
