BlackBerry Outage: Internet service hit again

We have heard reports that BlackBerry users have been suffering from another internet outage, mainly the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS), which is possibly affecting customers all around the world.

Over at BGR, they state that around 75-80% of BlackBerry users have been affected by the problem, and it is not just targeting specific carriers either.

Of course, the service might be back up and running now, but it does look as if a lot of you were affected throughout the night.

Let us know if your BIS is still down, or if everything is back up and running like normal now. Another week, another outage of some kind it seems.

    Mine was out most of Monday, seemed fine last night, now really sketchy this AM.

    I was wondering what the problem was. These problems began last night and continued through the morning hours. Although the problem was intermittent for me, it now appears the problem may have been resolved. At least I hope so.

    Mine is still out… Verizon Storm2 here, not that that may even mean anything… It’s becoming very frustrating!

    It’s been close to 24 hours in Chicago with no email or data on T-mo. May look at Android next time.

    My BB service has been down for about 36 hours and called TMobile and they seemed to be totally unaware of the issue?

    3 DAYS and counting without email service from RIM. My T-mo rep says RIM still has no answer or time frame for a fix.

    Mine went out just today, 11/20 and has been down for about 5 hours now.

    Mine is with Sprint in KC and has been down since the 13th and is STILL down. Not Happy!

    I have service with Sprint and have been down for a few days now. Sprint said it should have been back up last night at midnight but still nothing. Not a happy camper….

    Last email I received on my blackberry was at 9:46 PM EST last night. Nothing since then. I am receiving texts and Facebook updates, so just email is down for now.

    No emails since this morning and now it is 11:30pm in Naples, Fl.
    Using a new Blackberry Bold 9700 with T-Mobile.
    Not a single email yet!
