Viewsonic’s New VPD400 Moviebook

By: Jamie Pert | November 12, 2009 | Leave a Comment

A new Viewsonic device has recently showed up on SlipperyBrick, the device is called the Moviebook VPD400, and as you have probably already guessed it is a portable device which allows you to watch movies (amongst other things) on it.

The VPD400 has 8GB of internal storage, however you can expand this via its microSD memory card slot, the device also features a 4.3 inch display and will also display subtitles.

The device supports a wide-range of video and audio formats, these include “AVI, FLV, MKV, MPG, MOV, VOB, RMVB, H.264, WMA, MP3, WAV, FLAC and even DTS/AC3″.

The device is expected to sell at $130 which seems pretty reasonable, we are not yet sure exactly when the device will be available, however if we hear anything we will keep you posted.
