Palm Pre: Released at Carphone Warehouse, still exclusive to O2

It has been reported that the Palm Pre is now available to buy from Carphone Warehouse stores throughout the UK. The handset was previously tied down to O2 stores, but has now expanded and will remain an O2 exclusive for the time being.

As reported from Pocket-Lint, customers will now be able to head down to a Carphone Warehouse store and pick up the phone for free on a 2-year, £35 a month contract.

What does this mean exactly? Well for consumers, not a lot – it just means that it will be a lot easier for you to grab a Pre if you are still looking for one.

It will be better news for Palm as they look to boost sales before the end of the year. More over at Pocket-Lint.
