Modern Warfare 2: PS3 Servers Back Up

Yesterday was a pretty frustrating day for PlayStation 3 Modern Warfare 2 gamers, early in the day many users were reporting that they were having difficulties with online play.
As it turned out the huge demand for the game resulted in the servers crashing, which resulted in many believing that Activision should axe Demonware, Demonware are responsible for the online segment of Modern Warfare 2.
Personally I know how frustrating it is for gamers but I feel it is a bit harsh to axe them, especially given the fact that the game blew away previous records in terms of sales.
We are now hearing that the servers are now online, therefore you should not be experiencing difficulty playing the game online.
Please let us know whether or not you can now play online, also inform us if it is at all slow.

Are you not aware that as of 2007 Activision own Demonware so axing them prob is not an option! But if MS can cope come on Demonware don’t let the side down. Still could be worse, you could own a chipped xbox lol….

You ain’t kiddin Ben! They are in a whole world of pain at the moment it seems.
I booked 2 days off work to thrape this frankly brilliant game,As one can imagine I wasn’t a happy bunny when I discovered I couldnt connect pretty all day 11/10/09. So hearing there back up is great news.
However questions should be asked abt Demonware being able to cope with just the intial demand – Come on they knew this game was going to be huge on every level.-Whats gonna happen when the predicted large percentage of the 10millions expected to be sold by christmas comes online – ..more delays?- hopefully not. Right cant wait for work to finish so I can annoy my Girlfriend and get a few more ranks online!”.lol- feel free to add us.

I must of been one of those lucky people the servers let through. Throughtout 4 – 5 hours I left my game searching for a server, left and watched TV. When I came back I was connected. But my status for my psn did not update as it normally dose. Still there seemed to be a bunch of people on later in the night. oh PSN: Deathgod_Kira
I can’t believe how many irritated nerds posted visceral comments about this. They act like they were diagnosed with cancer. People are pathetic…
I am still unable to get into any game I get the searching for match and then it just keeps running through different game searches, But I haven’t been able to play MW1 since Oct 7th 2009 it did the same thing so I’m about to say forget it and trade the game in.
