By: Jamie Pert | November 12, 2009 | Leave a CommentAs some of you may have already known HP have been looking to buy 3Com for a while now, it now seems that a deal has been agreed between the two giants.
According to an article on MacWorld it seems that the deal has cost HP $2.7 billion, this will expand HP hugely in terms of networking related hardware and security.
It is thought that the deal won’t actually close until early 2010, currently prices per share for 3Com are $5.69, however HP’s deal vaules the shares at approximately $7.90 per share, which is great for 3Com.
