Samsung SyncMaster P2370HD Monitor with TV tuner and a HDMI input

The new Samsung SyncMaster P2370HD Monitor was mentioned some time ago, and we can now tell you that Engadget have more information for us. The monitor has a 27-inch screen and comes with an integrated TV tuner as well as an HDMI input.

The monitor offers a Full HD display, a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a 5ms response time. As this is just a monitor, Samsung have not spent too much time on the speakers, these will only push out 3 watt. However, the stereo speakers do a good job on simulating 5.1 channel sounds.

No doubt you will want something a bit more powerful, we would advise the Bose speaker system, the sound from this is truly amazing. The Samsung SyncMaster P2370HD Monitor has a host of other cool features, such as Picture In Picture and Picture By Picture modes.

The price of the monitor is not in everyone’s price range, costing 549,000 Won (or about $473) for Korea. There are no details of a worldwide release just yet, but we are certain that news will follow shortly. Until then, we will just have to admire images of the new monitor.
