Modern Warfare 2: Spec Ops DLC could come to Xbox 360, PS3, PC

Some exciting news for Modern Warfare 2 fans now, as only a day since its official launch yesterday, Infinity Ward have already hinted that we could be treated to some new Spec Ops DLC content in the future – as long as there is demand for it.

As reported from Eurogamer, the news was confirmed by Robert Bowling, who revealed that Spec Ops was ‘built’ in a certain way where it could be expanded ‘at any time’.

He also revealed that the team are planning to take a ‘break’ in the meantime, to play with everyone online – and then see how things are afterwards.

After spending a good few hours solid on the multiplayer portion of the game, its fair to say I’m officially hooked at the moment.

    DLC would be great, raise it to about 50 or something. Hope it doesn’t cost 7.99 like World at War – i spent £23.97 on that game!

    MORE STEALTH MISSIONS, PLEASE!!! I really like these missions but there just aren’t enough of them. maybe even a few more that are similar to Overwatch and Big Brother.

    I would love to see some spec ops DLC.

    The levels I like the most are the ones where the players give each other air support. I also enjoy the the stealth levels and the “wave” levels. And I have heard from many that those are what really make MW stand out in the FPS genre.

    I also like how they used some of the old levels from the first game. I would like to see a wave game match on the MW level HEAT. I would also like to see some levels set in the middle east from MW2.

    I really hope IW does it. I would buy it. Imagine a level where one player has a high powered sniper rifle a mile away covering the other player as they run through a cluster of baddies!

    Definite Buy if Spec ops have DLC!!! I enjoyed Spec Ops more than the Campaign, though the Campaign felt more epic.

    Bring on those STARS and ACHIEVEMENTS!!
