Google Go: New Open Source language for programmers

Google’s ever expanding ‘empire’ has a new addition, this new addition is called Google Go, Google Go is a new open source programming language for developers.

According to a recent article on ComputerWorld this particular programming language is aimed at making “programmers’ lives more fulfilling, especially for multi-core or perhaps even clustered computers”.

According to an article posted on GoLang the programming language has a few major points of interest, it is said to be simple, fast, safe, concurrent, fun and best of all its open source.

  1. Python + C++ = Go. Why Python, why C++, why Go? What’s the practical impact of this new creature.. Should it become only a new programming technology in web application development? Too many questions..

    If Google is pushing “GO” then it will probably catch on whether we need it or not. If it truly fills some unanswered needs then it will just catch on more quickly.
