Adobe announce 680 job cuts to reduce costs
By: Alan Ng | November 11, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been reported that Adobe Systems are planning to lay off around 680 staff, in a big shape up designed to cut costs. The company revealed the news yesterday and coincidently, follows similar cuts by mobile company Sprint Nextel.
As reported from Computer World, the cuts wil affect people worldwide, with Adobe stating the move is due to their plans to stay in line the company’s 2010 budget.
The 680 staff represents 9% of Adobe’s total workforce and will no doubt be a blow to those affected so close to the Christmas period.
