Sky TV App: Watch Premier League Games Live on Your iPhone
By: Jamie Pert | November 10, 2009 | Leave a CommentA recent report on Telegraph.co.uk is reporting that a new application has recently launch for iPhone, the application is called Sky TV .
The application allows you to access Sky News, the Sky Sports channels and the ESPN channels live on your iPhone/iPod Touch, the application itself will cost nothing to download and install, however will require a £6 a month subscription.
Currently the application only works whilst connected to a WiFi connection, however it is thought that we may see 3G connection in the future.
Currently it is thought that carriers are restricting the 3G connectivity for this service (probably due to bandwidth). O2 are currently offering customers 3 months free subscription for this service (not sure whether this is to new and existing customers).
Personally I think this is an extremely good deal, especially for those of us who don’t have Sky TV at home, if I owned an iPhone I would certainly subscribe to the application, will you?
