Verizon Droid: Review of new TV Ad
Filed under: Cell Phone Information, Cell Phones

When the Motorola Droid was first announced we did not know that Verizon would use it to wage war on the iPhone. However, a few TV ads down the line, and that is just what we are seeing. The network carrier has released yet another new TV Ad and it is another shot at the Apple iPhone.
This forms part of a growing number of Droid Does ads and shows all the things that the Google Android 2.0 OS powered handset can do, compared to what the iPhone cannot. Cnet agrees that this latest ad will be something very valuable to a defense attorney.
While viewing Verizon’s latest TV ad, the Droid is not a smartphone after all, it is in fact a robotphone. This is the first time that I have ever seen a phone crush rocks and punch through steel walls, but this is not any phone is it.
The ad then goes on to show us a few iPhone handsets all blinged out with pretty sequins, never have I seen an ad put another handset down in this way before. The essence of the ad is simple; the iPhone is for those who love girly shows while the Droid is for boys. Not sure if iPhone owners will see it that way.
