Modern Warfare 2: Did You Queue for it?

Modern Warfare 2: Did You Queue for it?

By: Jamie Pert | November 10, 2009 | 4 Comments

Tonight has seen the release of Modern Warfare 2, around the World shops were staying open for what is thought to be the biggest and in my opinion the most highly anticipated game launch ever.

Across many different countries queues were beginning to form outside shops, according to the radio earlier pre-orders are up 50% when compared to last years record breaking GTA IV release, and apparently 10,000 stores across America have stayed open.

For those of you who queued for the game we thought we would ask you a few questions, feel free to answer in the comments section below.

Who did you buy it from store/country? How long did you queue? How much did you pay? What do you think so far?

I queued in torquays gamestation, arrived at 10.30, was around 20 people in front of me. A raffle was actioned amongst 100 people, I won and got a 40 quid credit note. So I only paid 5 quid, i’m sitting in my pants playing through the single player now, really loving the new target system and top graphics. A good night ;)

I ordered it from best buy. Im in line now, and have been for 3 hours… unfortunately.. there is still 5 hours 30 minutes to go until the doors open to buy it. Ive paid about 55 dollars, and i anticipate it being worth every penny, if not more.
