Kindle App for PC: Beta Available, Mac Version Coming Soon

Back in later October we heard how Amazon were planning to release a Kindle app for Windows sometime soon, the Kindle application is now live and can be obtained here.

The application is compatible with Windows XP/Vista & 7, and according to Amazon’s website we should expect to see a Mac version released soon, however Amazon have not expanded on this yet.

As you would expect the application allows you to read Kindle books on your Windows computer, it will allow you to access your Kindle books even if you do not have your Kindle with you, one other great feature allows you to synchronize your last read page with your Kindle.
