Guild Wars 2: Release date and Beta update

NCsoft, the publishers for Guild Wars 2, have announced that they dont expect the sequel to release until sometime in 2011, although they have indicated that we could see a closed-beta next year.

As reported from Eurogamer, the news came via a recent conference call to investors from Jaeho Lee, NCsoft’s chief financial officer. He said that the company do not plan to make any ‘major launches’ in 2010.
