Flash Tools for Developers: Announced for RIM

These days getting the best Internet experience from your handset is a huge consideration that manufacturers have to attempt to deliver when developing new handsets, one major technology which is becoming a must for handset web browsers is Flash support.

We are now hearing that RIM have recently announced that upcoming versions of Creative Suite 5 will allow developers to use the Eclipse JDE plug-in to import Flash media in a format compatible with BlackBerry handsets.

It is thought that Creative Suite 5 will be released sometime in 2010, therefore we can expect to see the technology utilized soon after.

One handset that has chosen not to support Flash is Apple’s iPhone, many believe that this is one area where the popular handset falls short.
