Apple Mac OS X 10.6.2 Update: Snow Leopard Fixes Explained

Apple have released Mac OS X 10.6.2 update, this will fix a number of issues for Snow Leopard users. There are also a number of feature enhancements to help make the operating system run as fast and smoothly as possible, so you had better get downloading now.

One of the major updates has now resolved the issue of the data loss while signed in a guest account; this would often cause the OS to log you out. Other problems that used to occur but are now fixed were when you tried to run a Spotlight search, but the results would not show any Exchange contacts.

PC World reports that Apple have broken down the other fixes into simple categories, these include Font fixes, there had been reports of a number of issues in this area, so users will now be pleased to learn that this has now been resolved.

Mac OS X 10.6.2 update has a number of patches included; these will help to solve a number of issues with Mail. There are also fixes to the network file systems, as well as the reported issues with printing and faxing.
