By: Jamie Pert | November 9, 2009 | Leave a CommentThese days it seems that low power consumption is a priority when portable device manufacturers choose chipsets and components, therefore Ralink’s new wireless solution may prove to popular with future devices.
The Ralink RT3090BC4 provides both Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity within one card, therefore saving space within the portable device, and also offering lower power consumption.
The card provides up to 802.11n connectivity with Bluetooth 3.0+HS, it is thought that MSI will be one of the earliest manufacturers to adopt the solution, however exactly when we will begin to see the solution on the market is not yet known.
