Creative ZEN X-Fi2: Specifications and Pricing

Today’s portable media player market is pretty much dominated mainly by Apple’s iPod range and Microsoft’s Zune devices, however Creative have also stood quite strong with their Zen range.
Creative have recently unveiled their latest ZEN portable media player which is called the ‘Creative ZEN X-Fi2′, this player is said to support more formats than Apple’s iPod.
Technical specifications worth mentioning include a 3 inch LCD touchscreen display which supports a resolution of 400×240, a range of capacities which include 8GB/16GB/32GB, other things worth mentioning include a microSD memory card slot, and a battery that will support up to 25 hours of audio playback.
As for pricing the ZEN X-Fi2 will set you back either $129.99,$179.99 or $229.99 depending on capacity, for more details check out HotHardware.

At this pricing the new ZEN is certainly worth it. It does not seem to have all bells and whistles of more expensive players such as iPod Touch or Zune but is cost much much less and audio quality with zen players has always been good both in my ears and according to tests.
